Arrive in Manila at any time
Days 2-3 Banaue (2B,2L,2D)
Travel north into the Cordillera Mountains to explore a true man-made wonder, the incredible terraced hillsides constructed by the Ifugao people over 2000 years ago and still in use today.
Day 4 Sagada (B,L)
The mellow atmosphere of Sagada is the perfect place to explore the history of the local ethnic people, including the burial caves, hanging coffins and tribal markets for which this area is justly famous, whilst taking in the natural beauty of the local fir forests and waterfalls.
Day 5 Baguio (B)
Travelling to the coast we stop at Baguio, an alpine town famed for its faith healers and colourful market.
Day 6 Vigan & Laoag (B)
Another scenic drive today as we descend through the mountains to the colonial coastal town of Laoag. With a rich historic past, Laoag offers an eclectic mix of Spanish, Chinese and Japanese influences, reflected in both the culture and architecture. Vigan is a world heritage town, which luckily escaped the worst of WWII bombing, keeping its pretty colonial architecture, cobblestone streets and horse-drawn carriages.
Day 7 Pagudpud (B)
Enjoy a relaxing day trip to the pretty provincial town of Pagupud, known best for the stunning white sands and clear azure water of the Blue Lagoon, one of the most beautiful spots of natural beauty in the whole of the Philippines.
Day 8 Manila (B)
Return to Manila to explore the oldest part of the city, the area known as Intramuros or 'between the walls,' and to have one last taste of delicious Filipino food!
