Description

From the glorious chaos of Bangkok, head to the serene mountains of Northern Thailand. Trek through the jungle with your guide and learn firsthand about life in a hilltribe village. After the trek, trade in the mountains for beach life in the south. Hang up your hammock and enjoy the sounds of the sea in your own tropical island paradise.

Day 1 Arrive Bangkok

Arrive in Bangkok at any time.

Day 2 Bangkok

Delight in the dazzling Grand Palace and the city’s countless pagodas; if you're a shopper, you could spend weeks sifting through Bangkok’s malls and open-air markets. Whatever your style, this is the place to eat, drink, explore, shop and be merry.

Day 3 Chiang Mai

This northern city has long been a traveller's favourite. Try the fantastic street food, shop at the night bazaar, visit some of the hundreds of temples in the city, or explore beautiful surrounding countryside.

Day 4-6 Hilltribe Trek (3B,2L,2D)

Trek through the rolling hills and mountainsides of Northern Thailand, home to a vast diversity of ethnic minorities each with their own culture, traditions, language and costume.

Day 7 Chiang Mai

Sit in on a meditation class at one of the temples or test your culinary skills and join one of the numerous Thai cooking classes.

Day 8-9 Bangkok

Return to Bangkok to visit the temples you missed, gardens you only passed through and shops you only peeked in.

Day 10-11 Khao Sok National Park (B)

Khao Sok is a diverse area of natural beauty, a perfect place for people who want to hike and enjoy nature, or for those who just want to chill out in a hammock by the riverside.

Day 12 Ko Samui

Retreat to one of Thailand's most popular vacation getaways. Although there is plenty of night life and numerous dining options, there are still many out of the way spots for those wishing to get away from it all.

Day 13-15 Ko Tao

A beach paradise so laid back that even the palm trees don't stand up straight! Snorkel or scuba dive around some of the best reefs in South-East Asia.

Day 16 Depart Bangkok

Arrive back into Thailand's capital where the trip ends upon arrival at Bangkok Railway Station.
